The Conservatory focuses on one thing: audio. Because we concentrate totally on the science and art of sound, we are able to offer what we believe is the most comprehensive audio program in the country.
Our Master Recording Program II covers everything from basic principles of sound all the way up to the most sophisticated concepts of audio engineering. Numerous certifications are included to add to your audio resume when applying for a job. The program lasts 42 weeks with 30 weeks on campus in lecture and hands-on training and 12 weeks of internship. Internships are located in a major city of your choice.
Our Laptop Program puts at your fingertips the hardware and software you need to learn the skills necessary for employment in the rapidly changing world of audio. On the first day of class, each student receives an Apple MacBook 13” laptop, complete with audio interface, microphone, headphones, protective case and more. The package comes loaded with the hottest music software on the market, like M-Powered Pro Tools and Logic Studio featuring Logic Pro, MainStage and Soundtrack Pro. We’ve also included 5 plug-ins from Waves. In short, the package includes everything you need to get started in digital audio production.
All this gear is integrated into your classroom experience through our CRAS Connect Web interface. This interface acts as a comprehensive guide through the program and offers a syllabus for every class, glossary, testing, Wiki, networking hub and much more.
Once you complete this program, you will be prepared to step up to the console at any studio anywhere and make a living making music. Hundreds of Conservatory graduates are enjoying success at studios throughout the country. You can too.
