Our Hairdressing and Cosmetology course prepares you for an exciting career!

This course focuses on training in hair, skin and nail services. Completion of this 1035-hour course results in the awarding of a certificate and qualifies graduates to apply for a New York State Cosmetology License.

Not only will you gain hands-on experience from practicing in the student clinic which performs services on the public, but you will also gain extensive knowledge on styling and color products from Redken and Mizani. Redken is one of the most widely used product lines in the area’s high-end salons and has the #1 long-lasting color in the country. Mizani has developed a full range of hair care lines that smooth, condition and repair ethnic hair, making Mizani the #1 choice in many salons providing specialty hair services.

Our graduates have gone on to career paths as hairdressers, salon owners, day spa owners, image consultants, estheticians, hair colorists, perm specialists, salon managers, nail care specialists, sales consultants and educators.
