The DBA program consists of four research foundation courses, six core courses, four concentration courses, and two elective courses. Following successful completion of all courses, and passage of the Comprehensive Written Examination, students begin the dissertation process.

The EdS in School Counseling program is designed for experienced professionals who have master’s degrees in other fields and wish to become school counselors. The program is a 30-semester-credit-hour program of study that incorporates coursework designed to help students in meeting the specialization requirements for certification in Guidance and Counseling (Grades K–12) in the state of Florida. Because of certification variations among states, students should check with regional authorities to confirm their requirements prior to entering the program. Students may transfer up to 9 credit hours into the program, but the courses must meet criteria for direct substitution for the existing curriculum offerings.

The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Criminal Justice program at Argosy University, Sarasota can provide criminal justice practitioners with enhanced critical thinking, communication, research and professional skills designed to contribute to career development, promotional opportunities, and consideration for specialized assignments. The program would also prepare you for possible careers in the various occupational fields of the criminal justice system.
The BS in Criminal Justice degree program will consist of 120 total credits:

• A cluster of 24 credits from 2 concentrations (12 credits each) selected from multiple options
